Finishing Timber Cladding

Whilst we have many machines our industry continues to evolve and most machines are awaiting an upturn in throughput.

In conjunction with our network of importer/merchant contacts, our specialist coating suppliers and the fact that we have our in house paint manufacturing unit we feel we have or can find a solution to each coating problem.

There are so many influential factors in coating timber products the main concern is moisture content as you cannot paint a sponge!

We have many conversations with architects and specifiers who are asking for UV protection to prevent timber bleaching/fading from its original colour. However we would emphasise that without pigment in any coating there is no protection from the suns rays. Paint manufacturers have an understanding that the minimum level of pigment in translucent coatings is light oak to provide any level of UV protection.
